Neuro Impulse Protocol (NIP)
The Neuro Impulse Protocol is one of the many forms known in the chiropractic field. Cracking? A distinctive approach from NIP is that there is no cracking involved. The impulse given is soft and specific. It’s specificity makes it ultimately effective.
Precise reproduceable tests are used to find out where communication between brain and body is disrupted. The analysis shows disrupted patterns of tension in the spine, pelvis, skull and extremities which influence the nervous system. Predominantly there is one primary problem, wherefore multiple areas in the body do compensate. For every primary ‘’chiropractic subluxation’’ there is a specific motion restriction, change of; reflex, muscle strength, the presence of a tender spot and a compensatory posture. There is a clear differentiation between the primary problem and the compensation.
Because life is continuously in movement, the brain is continuously looking for homeostasis and there creates new layer of compensations. Problems therefore typically present layered. These layers offer themselves after the other and usually need several sessions to get balanced. The NIP-systems brings a safe and pain-free corrections which restores neurological balance.

What does a first visit look like?
First a solid history is done to find out where the problems came from. There is also attention for medical and general history to map out the neurological development as well as possible. The NIP examination consists of a combination of detailed chiropractic examination and a functional neurological exam. Reflexes, sensation, muscle strength and mobility of the joints and spine are tested. To distinguish the primary problem from the compensations and to determine the precise point of the correction.
What does a treatment look like?
On the location of the primary problem an impulse will be given, which consists of two phases to also influence two kinds of receptors. Hereby there will initially light pressure initiated whereby specificity in the direction and position are of greater most importance. After that a quick superficial impulse will follow to create the biggest effect in the two phases on the nervous system.
Because of the gentle character of the adjustments the NIP method is also perfectly suited for babies and pregnant ladies.
